Came in this morning, started answering e-mail. Next thing I know it is half an hour past the end of normal lunchtime.

On the other hand, if everything works out okay, I now have about a month free from main project in order to sweep up the end parts of the four minor projects.

Went to see Wanted. An entertaining enough fantastical shoot-em-up on one hand, a failed angsty complex film on the other. What is Hollywood's obsession with fathers and identities? Isn't there any lead character capable of developing an independent self? But it reminded me I really should get around to watching Daywatch, so I guess that is the next rainy weekend taken care of.

My winter hobby project materials arrived so now I just have to buy pins, thread and an iron to iron the patches flat.

Don't you live in Switzerland? With like mountains and snow and chairlifts? Surely the winter free-time can be fully absorbed with snowboarding, mulled wine, rutting on a bearskin rug in front of a roaring fire and banking nazi gold?

If television is a babysitter, the internet is a drunk librarian who won't shut up.
