Maybe that's a bit generic, but if you're allowed "squash" I think it should count.

And "bean" as slang for "to hit on the head with a blunt instrument".  Although I suppose it comes from "bean" for "head" which might come from the shape of the vegetable.

But I think to qualify a particular form of beans should only be included if the the type of bean is also a verb. String beans would be fine. Fava beans would be out.

Corn should be another good one.

And curry.
